About Us

The Pacific NW Yachting Association has brought together members and non members within and outside the Marine Industry to identify and achieve our common goals.  Our board meets monthly and our committees are open to suggestions from all parts of the world and all parties both from within and outside the industry.

We have 9 active board members, 16 founding members and we work in conjunction with other affiliate industry organizations such as SDSA, US SuperYacht Association, NMTA and NWYBA.

Mission Statement

  • To serve the recreational yachting industry by providing the infrastructure/organization to bring together interested parties and achieve common goals.
  • To promote the Pacific NW as one of the world’s premiere yachting destinations and provide the necessary support, information, services, supply slinks, etc. for both visiting and local yachts.
  • To address issues such as Federal and State Laws and regulations and how they relate to all facets of our industry including manufacturing, cruising, services, etc…
  • To serve as an inclusive organization willing to work with all parties intent on supporting various aspects of the Marine Community.
  • To recognize that the Pacific Northwest Marine industry has a long successful history of innovation and productivity and is a vital part of the local economy and community.

Our Plan

The Pacific Northwest region has been a pioneering and prolific force in the world’s marine industry, yet the need for developing communication and collaboration both locally and internationally is vital to our resourcefulness and the continued success of our region in the worldwide market. All facets of the world’s Marine Industry need to speak to one another and this informative and interactive web site, operated by the Pacific Northwest Yachting Association, will serve as both a regional and worldwide forum for ideas, as an inclusive, accessible hub for it’s policies, services, members, and an active resource for all interested parties.
